Compound needle closers are a specific supplementary for compound needles. YS manufactures compound needle closers using different techniques and designs, based on the appropriate knitting machine model a client will be using.
All individual compound needle closers work as a whole closing bar while operating, a significant uniform evenness and gauge. For example, each of our needle closing units has a width of half an inch: if the whole machine has an operation range of 170 inches, this means one knitting machine requires 340 blocks of closing units in total. This means we have to ensure each closing unit block maintains the evenness, with no gaps between blocks in order to prevent collision with the compound needles.
The molds for compound needle closers are precisely manufactured with a low speed wire cutter with an accuracy within ±1μm. Our high precision process guarantees the surface evenness and uniform gauge on the closing unit.
